Sent to the wrong person, or picked the wrong details? Right after sending, Deeta gives you a moment to take it back.
How it works
Straight after you share, a message appears at the bottom of the screen — Sent! Expires in 24 hours. — with Undo and Manage buttons.
Tap Undo and the share is cancelled — the link stops working immediately.
You have about ten seconds. After that the message disappears and the share stands.
When there's no Undo
Undo appears when you've sent one link to one person through iMessage, Mail or More options…. It doesn't appear when you:

tap Copy link (the share screen stays open instead)

send through WhatsApp

send by iMessage to more than one person (each got their own link)

start from New share in Settings → Shared links
In each case, revoke from Settings → Shared links if you change your mind.
After the ten seconds
Not a problem — go to Settings → Shared links and revoke it there instead. Same effect on the link. If they've already accepted it, it will have left that list; take it back from Who has your profile instead. See Revoking a share.
The important limit
Undo stops the link. If the recipient was quick and already opened and saved your details into their own phone's contacts, undo cannot take those back. Nothing can — once someone has saved a contact, it's theirs, exactly as it would be if you'd texted them your number.
In practice ten seconds is rarely enough for anyone to have opened it, but it's worth knowing the boundary.
Troubleshooting
The Undo button disappeared before I could tap it. Revoke it from Settings → Shared links instead.
I tapped Undo but they say they still got it. They may have opened it first. The link is dead now, but anything they saved outside Deeta stays with them.
I undid it by accident. Just share again — nothing else changed.
I don't see the message at all. It appears at the bottom of the screen for a few seconds after sending. If you navigated away immediately, you'll have missed it — use Shared links. Some ways of sending don't offer Undo; see When there's no Undo.
Questions
Does the recipient know I undid it? Not directly. If they tap the link afterwards, it won't open.
Is undo the same as revoke? The effect on the link is the same. Undo is just the quick version, offered in the moment.
Can I undo a contact I shared, not just my own card? Yes — the same message appears.
Is there an Undo if I only copied the link? No. Copying keeps the share screen open with a Link copied confirmation. If you change your mind, revoke it from Settings → Shared links. See Sharing your own card.
